The pectoralis minor is a small muscle which is located underneath the pectoralis major, in the upper region of the chest.
Its main role is to stabilise the scapula. The muscle is recruited during the downward rotation of the scapula, and is therefore actively engaged during pull up exercises.
The pectoralis minor will be sufficiently developed and strengthened from a well-balanced routine.
