Since Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has taken a role in the new Hollywood adaptation of “The A-Team”, the coach vs coach finale of TUF 10 must be pushed back. In the meantime, this leaves former Light Heavyweight champ Rashad Evans without a fight. Rashad has a solution for this problem however, calling out Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva.
From MMALive:
“I think it’s a great idea. As a matter of fact, Joe Silva call me. Put the fight together, I’m ready for it. You know my mom probably gonna say, ‘Rashad, I told you stop calling out Anderson Silva. Rashad ,he made Forrest Griffin run Rashad and that was in Philadelphia. He made Forrest run back to Vegas Rashad.’ Hey mom listen, I can do this, I got this.”
Rashad is coming off of a big loss to Silva’s training partner Lyoto Machida. Evans suffered a humbling defeat in his losing effort against the new champ. The fighting spirit in Rashad is strong however, as he looks to return to form by challenging possibly the best pound for pound fighter in the world.
