Cialis And Bodybuilding

Some of you have known about this for a very long time. However recently speaking with some TRT users I’ve shared some of my “supplement” regimen additions with them that I use with my TRT, and “On Cycle” as well.

When sharing this info with some other weight trainers, occasionally I’ve been met with the old “I don’t need that, I’m a rock star in bed” etc. etc.

Yes… this drug is prescribed for erectile dysfunction….HOWEVER if you haven’t heard of this, you may have missed out on the biggest thing to hit the pre workout bodybuilding scene in years.

Matter of fact, I’d have to say as far as pumps go, it beats the crap out of any pre workouts I’ve used on the market. And I love trying, and have tried, most of the stuff out there.

Cialis and bodybuilding go together like horror movies and metal. It just works.

With the blood flow increase…The pumps are insane.

I LOVE the feeling of a good pump. I actually feel robbed if I go and get no pump at all if I’m carb depleted etc. When I started adding Cialis to my “supplement regimen” I noticed a massive difference in my pumps at the gym.

Even when I’m “Off Cycle” I’ll use 10mg everyday as a pre workout alongside my TRT doses and the results are incredible.
Additionally, I also still use 2,000mg of L arginine pre/post workout as well.

Once you try it you’ll be a BIG FAN.

The Anti-inflammatory properties of this drug are noteworthy in the sense that Cialis attacks the plaque building process by lowering both CRP, the systemic (whole body) inflammation that is intimately correlated with arteriosclerosis, and VCAM, which is a protein that helps white blood cells adhere to arterial walls and causes plaque buildup.

Cialis Pumps

Cialis has also been proven to increase Testosterone.  In a study of 74 patients with erectile dysfunction treated on demand with 50mg of Viagra or 20mg of Cialis for three months, basal levels of total testosterone and free testosterone were at the bottom of the normal range that was reversed after treatment in both groups. Testosterone increase in Viagra-treated cases was significantly lower than in those treated with Cialis, suggested to be due to the higher frequency of full sexual intercourse in the Cialis-treated group.

Cialis has also been proven in studies to reduce estrogen with long term treatment. This can be a great alternative to using compounds like Clomid.

 MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH CIALIS

When I started using Cialis I first started with 20mg chew-able tabs pre workout.

The drawbacks-
The biggest drawback I noticed was the Red face effect. My entire face and neck were really, really, beat red. I don’t like having that beat red face look at all.
To me it gave me that I’m embarrassed look. I don’t want that in the gym OR in the bedroom.
It also gave me a slight headache. That seemed to go away after the first 2 hours

After some experimenting, I took my doses down then back up to 10mg every day and this seemed to clear up any issues. This has been my “sweet spot”

My pumps are great even if I’ve taken the dose hours earlier.

Being that the Half life of Cialis is so long, and with my TRT, I can pretty much “perform” when I want to no matter if the dose was taken 8 hours earlier specially with the 10mg a day protocol. However don’t get me wrong, some days after work, 1.5 to 2 hours in the gym, spending time with family, inadequate sleep, and any other tasks that need to be done that day, You may be just done no matter what you’re taking.. And that’s ok. We are only human. Get some rest and be superman tomorrow.

This is how Ill typically take it.

10mg plus 1000 mg of L arginine 30min pre workout

Then 1000mg L arginine post workout.

TIP: If you have something like Herpes simplex, L arginine can bring on and or aggravate the virus. You’ll want to take 1000 to 2000mg of L Lysine to counteract any adverse side effects.

I know some guys are taking 20mg every day and others are taking 20mg Every other day.

If you are interested to adding this to your tool box you will need to experiment and see what works for YOU.

Doses – 20mg every 2 days / On or Off Cycle
Or 10mg Everyday / On or Off Cycle
My Dose – 10mg Every Day

 

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH VIAGRA

viagraI have also tried Viagra as a pre workout. I also started a bit too high and had a bit more sides including Headache, Red face, and it also seemed to raise my blood pressure (pounding chest).

Again breaking the does down in half to 50mg tabs and ingesting 30min before workout those symptoms seemed to disappear.  I used 100mg tab chewables and broke them in half.
The redness disappeared, and I only had a slight headache. The pumps were good and I can defiantly see recommending Viagra as well. Some swear by it.

I personally like the Cialis over the Viagra, however I know a few people that feel just the opposite, so whatever works for you.

Doses – 50mg every day pre workout
