Police did not say what led to Russell’s arrest, but it appears to be linked to an undercover investigation. He was released on $2500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 20. A bond hearing was set for Wednesday, July 7.
Jamarcus was the number 1 draft pick in the 2007 NFL draft, collecting $36.4 million dollars over three seasons. He was released from the Oakland Raiders last year after yet another abysmal set of performances. He’s considered the biggest draft disappointment in recent history.
