We know him as the Football Analyst that always has something to say about EVERYTHING.
Now he has something to say about his own steroid use.
From Espnstar.com:
“We did steroids to get away the aches and the speed of healing,” Bradshaw said.
“My use of steroids from a doctor was to speed up injury, and (I) thought nothing of it. It was to speed up the healing process, that was it. It wasn’t to get bigger and stronger and faster.”
The No. 1 overall pick in the draft in 1970, Bradshaw also said he took the steroids with a doctor’s prescription.Steroids were not illegal when Bradshaw played.
Now a television studio analyst for FOX, Bradshaw played for the Steelers from 1970-83. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989 – in his first year of eligibility.
Now it is great to have him come forward at a time when everyone hides there steroid use like the fat girl you sleep with when you were drunk.
I find it a little naive of anyone that believes that only it’s healing powers were the result.
You can’t not gain muscle , so it is irrelevant what was the initial reason for use, at the end of the day he gained muscle.
He may have also gained that Hulk Hogan hair style from the anabolics . He is a Hall of Famer and a well respected Sports Analyst , now he is also an honoree member of the steroid community.
